Scalewise
Privacy Policy
Privacy information for the Scalewise website and iOS application.
Last updated: 2026-06-16
Scalewise is a local-first application. Its core design principle is that your data never passes through any server controlled by the provider named in the Imprint. Data is processed directly on your device.
The data controller for this website and software is the provider named in the Imprint. Full contact and address details are on the Imprint page.
1. Website
This is a static product site with no embedded advertising networks, social-media widgets, or client-side analytics scripts.
Your browser may transmit a standard HTTP request log entry (IP address, browser string, timestamp, requested URL) to the hosting provider as part of normal web delivery. The provider named in the Imprint has no access to those logs; they are retained and processed by the hosting provider solely for security and operational purposes.
Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)): The hosting provider's log processing is a legitimate interest of network security and delivery. No personal data is collected by the provider from website visitors.
2. Application
Scalewise operates locally on your device. It does not send your data to any cloud service operated by the provider.
Any network connections made by the application are initiated by you directly (e.g., connecting to your own accounts or servers). The provider does not receive, log, or process those connections.
3. Contact data
If you contact support or sales by email, your message and email address are used solely to respond to your inquiry. No data is shared with third parties. Correspondence is retained for as long as necessary to resolve your inquiry and any follow-up.
Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)/(f)): Processing is necessary to respond to your request and to fulfill our legitimate interest in providing support.
4. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability where applicable. To exercise these rights, contact the protected support email.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Germany, the competent authority is the Landesbeauftragter für den Datenschutz of the relevant federal state.
5. Changes
Material changes to this policy will be noted in the app's changelog. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
